If you're having trouble sending mail, view the step-by-step screenshots in the Troubleshooting Guide (PDF) and pay close attention to Steps 14 to 15.
- Go to your iPhone Settings and select Mail
- Choose Accounts
- Select Add Account…
- Select Other
- Select Add Mail Account
- Fill out the form with your Name, your Sharp Hue e-mail address, your e-mail password, and a description for the account (ex: Company Name). Select the Next button
- Select the IMAP button at the top of the screen
Fill in the settings for Incoming Mail Server. - Host Name: mail.sharphue.com
User Name: [your email address]
Password: [your password] - Fill in the settings for Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name: mail.sharphue.com
User Name: [your email address]
Password: [your password]
And press Next. - Wait for settings to be verified...
- If you are prompted with "Cannot Connect Using SSL", Select the Yes button
- Again, wait for settings to be verified...
- If you are prompted again with "Cannot Connect Using SSL", Select the Yes button
- Press Save
- Select Company Name (the description for your account entered in Step 5)
- Select your Account
- Select SMTP
- Select mail.sharphue.com underneath Primary Server
- Ensure these three settings:
SSL turned Off
Authentication set to Password
Server Port set as 587 - Press Done and work your way back out to the main phone Settings
